Papa's Endeavours Nepal - P.E.N. (formerly 'Social Endeavours Nepal) embraces numerous charitable activities of 'Papa'. These include the 'Boudha' Indian migrant settlement; Individual sponsorships; Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf) Education in Kathmandu, Nepal, etc.,.

Why 'Papa'? That is the title the folk in the poor Boudha (Kathmandu)  Indian migrant settlement and the Boudha street children gave to me (Eric Fairman) and is the 'tag' that follows me wherever I engage in social endeavours in Kathmandu.

Helping the Street Boys, in 2012, was one of my first endeavours.   Now totally independent of my support.

I am a  long-retired Steiner primary school class teacher, having successfully taught in the UK, Canada and Australia, with two further years as an itinerant Master teacher in the USA and New Zealand.   In all, I (Eric K. Fairman) taught for a total of 31 years, with a further 6 years as a 'care worker' in Steiner homes for children with 'special needs' in the UK and DE.

P.E.N is a 'one man' undertaking with no expensive overheads.  All donations are applied directly to the projects for which they are intended.

Papa Eric carries 100% responsibility for his own costs of travel, food, accommodation etc when engaged on any of the P.E.N. endeavours.
